Are You Exhausted Spiritually?

Isaiah 40:28 (Amplified Bible)
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.

When a person becomes exhausted they come to the end of themselves, they are completely "spent". When one becomes spiritually exhausted, it is not because they are caught up in sin, but they are caught up in service to the King of Kings. To determine if someone will become completely exhausted, you have to look at where they are getting what they need from. Are you looking to the world to nourish you, or are you looking to the only One who can truly fulfill and be all that you need? As a Christ follower you need to be full of what God has to offer. People who do not know Christ or where to get their supply will be looking to you, and you must be strong enough to keep yourself supplied of the Truth. "You must literally be their source of supply, until they learn to take their nourishment from God. We owe it to God to be our best for His lambs and sheep, as well as for Him."
It is important that you look within yourself and ask what the reasons are that your serving Christ. Also make sure that you are keeping yourself "grounded on the redemption of Jesus Christ." God has chosen us to be His people, to reach the lost, to serve Him all the days of our lives. We should be exhausted in service to Him, but we also should keep in mind that He is our supply, He will replenish us and make us strong to continue on. "All my springs are in you.." (Psalm 87:7)
